Coming of a surprise Euro 2016 win in France, the only thing Cristiano Ronaldo is yet to win is the World Cup. This sets high expectations for the Portuguese squad going into to Russia. Unfortunately last World Cup for Portugal was a massive disappointment not making it out of groups. They will hope to make it out this time with a more favorable draw, as they were drawn into what many people considered the group of death in 2014. The hopes of Portugal of course lie in the hands of Cristiano Ronaldo. Coming of his third straight champions league final victory he will of course be confident. This Portugal team has a blend of experience and young talent which may make them a dark horse for the tournament especially considering their heroics in France just two years ago.
