Iceland come into this World Cup following Euros in which they were the darlings of the tournament. The infectious clap celebration and the passion the players showed despite the country only having a small population of around 300,000 was breathtaking. This though will be the first World Cup the country has ever attended. The performance at the Euros turned heads after being knocked out in the quarterfinals but if they are even able to replicate some of that it will be extremely impressive. In order to do that everything will go through star midfielder Gylfi Sigurdsson. The Everton midfielder has been in peak form for Iceland recently and will be at the forefront of every Iceland attack. No one expects much out of Iceland this World Cup but anything can happen when you have that great of support and passion.
